Disdainful indication that something is obvious.
In a sentence: “The sun is bright.”
“Duh!”
This is one of my
favorite words. For some reason, some people like to state the obvious. Then
you can say “Thank you, Captain Obvious.” or “Obviously!” But if you want to
make it really short, just say “Duh!” But remember: Saying hurtful things like
these can be rude.
“Marco!”
“Yes?”
“Duh!”
